Dr. P Bhatia, MD

I'm a Vancouver kid. I spent my earliest years in East Van before my family settled in Kitsilano, where my father — Dr. Tejpaul Bhatia, DVM, a veterinarian, now retired — cared for the neighbourhood's animals for years. Some of my best childhood memories are from this exact stretch of shoreline. Opening a clinic steps from Kits Beach isn't a business decision — it's coming home. I completed my medical training in Michigan, practising at a Federally Qualified Health Center serving a large, high-volume patient population, with rotations at the University of Michigan and William Beaumont Hospital, including pediatrics. Since returning to Vancouver I've practised at clinics across the city, experience that grounded me in BC's health system and shapes the care I provide at KitsBeachMD: modern, thorough, and personal. Outside the clinic, I'm a proud new father to my son, Callan.
